About the Item

A French tramp Art hand-carved mirror from the early 20th century, with triangular pediment and pyramidal accents. Created in France during the Turn of the Century, this mirror was hand carved in the manner typical of the Tramp Art style. Consisting of an unusual frame topped with a triangular pediment surrounding a mirror plate, the mirror features a layered texture made of a series of overlapping notches. Alternating black and dark brown patterns, the mirror is accented with raised pyramidal motifs. With its lovely silhouette and almost three-dimensional design, this French Tramp Art mirror circa 1900 will enliven any space beautifully.
