George I-II walnut & parcel gilt mirror, English, early-mid 18th century. Well shaped & molded mirror surround with gilt border. The upper cartouche centered by a robust gilt shell. Bevelled edge two-part mirror obscured by mineral deposits, typical of antique mirror plates. Simple, elongated period design. Old restored break in the top crest. 47.5" h., 18 3/8" w.
