George Nakashima for Widdicomb attributed mirror

About the Item

Stunning vintage sculpted walnut framed mirror attributed to George Nakashima for his Origins collection for Widdicomb-Mueller, 1958-1964. This mirror incorporates Nakashima’s distinctive organic modern forms on the upper and lower edges and his signature seamless joinery and love of natural oil wood finish. The forms were echoed throughout the Origins line on chair arms and table tops. The design, use of top quality walnut and construction is very similar to other known mirrors from the line. In very good original condition with minor wear to the ends of the upper and lower edges. Dimensions: 50" Width x 3 1/2" Depth x 31 1/2" Height
