Gilt Oval Metal Eyelash Mirror with Bevel

About the Item

Here is a very decorative double eyelash mirror made of curved metal with an aged gilt finish. We have had this mirror in other sizes before, including a smaller oval. However, this is the larger of the oval sizes--measuring 23.5" high. Often this mirror is said to be of Italian or French origin but we are confident it was made in Spain in the 1960s. We had an identical example in our inventory several years ago that had a metal tag on the verso that indicated that it was Spanish. This mirror is beveled and does not appear to have any silver loss or scratches. The mirror site size is 13.88 high by 10" wide. The back of the mirror has hooks for hanging vertically or horizontally. Note that the cork backing has some staining, but of course this doesn't affect its appeal or beauty when hung.
