About the Item

The gilding on this wood carved mirror is exquisite and exceptional, With the original patina. The design has a shield form with two urns Positioned at the top corners. An elevated post is centered at the top With an urn with foliate carvings at the crest. A garland wreath runs from The top post and scrolls gracefully down each side. The bottom comes to A point and is centered with a foliate leafy design. Scrolling arms flow Outward ending in a flower design. The mirror plate is beveled and clear.
