Gold Gilt Rococo Carved Mirror, Sweden circa 1790-1810

About the Item

This striking gold gilt mirror has rococo carved flourishes throughout the frame. Burnished gold and red accent the beautiful carving. There is expected age-related wear as seen where the gilt has been worn off, wood is nicked or cracked, but this wear does not detract from the beauty nor function of this elegant mirror. Sold in as is, used condition. It is solid and ready to hang securely. All scratches, small cracks throughout, nicks, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely gilt rococo mirror. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed. With over 37 years of experience selling European antiques, our brick-and-mortar storefront, Round Top Ranch Antiques (located in Texas) offers one of the largest curated selections in the nation with over thirty-five thousand square feet of inventory to choose from.
