One of a kind Louis XVI Palatial Mirror in Giltwood with foliage and floral carvings.
An antique masterwork Louis XVI style gold leaf frame enclosing the original beveled mirror. France, circa 1860.
Please notice the beautiful combination of the oval frame with all the naturalistic motifs. Centre beneath are the twin symbols of Louis XVI, a quiver of arrows crossed with a flaming torch. The pair of birds represents the ideal of romantic love.
This gorgeous mirror will be an elegant estatement placed above a fireplace or console table, also interesting for a entry hall or any other room with a bench below it.
