An impressive Italian carved wood wall plaque with center mirror from the early 20th century. This antique wall decoration from Italy features ornate three dimensional hand carvings in a shell, floral, and scrolling leaf motif, about a framed mirror at center.The upper crest is raised to a nice display of splaying foliage en roses.The central mirror is not original to this piece and has been replaced at one point in time. The diameter of the mirror is 14.56 inches (37 cm).
