About the Item
A wonderful Italian early 19th century Baroque st. double framed Mecca mirror. The mirror is raised by wonderful scrolled feet with richly carved foliate movements which extend up each side. The original central mirror plate is framed within a most decoratively shaped mottled border. The original outer mirror plates also display a mottled border within finely scrolled foliate Mecca movements and a large striking Fleur de Lis top crown. All original mecca throughout.
