Italian Hand Painted Cushion Form Mirror, Second Half of the 19th Century

About the Item

Having a slighlty convex or "cushion" form, the frame painted with an inscription in Latin which translates to "Don't Abandon Us, Lord", other details include a technique resembling craquelure, a stemma at center top with a band of ermine below, and a bird of prey in the upper left corner.
