Antique, one of a kind and highly decorative organic hand carved mirror.
This beautiful, golden color refinished, hand-carved mirror frame with the original mirror from the late 19th century is in great condition. It is perfectly hand carved with branches and a sea of beautifully detailed leafs all around. The stylish way in which the group of leafs on top is formed is like the icing on the cake of this work-of-art wall mirror. The former owner, who herself was an artist, decided to turn this 19th century antique in a work of art that -in her view- would make it more suitable for 21st century interiors. And just by looking at this marvelously decorative piece, you can immediately see how that can work perfectly. This highly decorative and large mirror can now be placed in all sorts of interiors and in many spaces, whether it be above a fireplace or a bed or in an entrance etc. The great looking antique mirror itself is all original and just like antique glass it has that riple-in-the-water-like surface.
