Large and Exceptional Antique Louis Philippe Style Wall Mirror
About the Item
Large Antique Louis Philippe style wall mirror with arched top and mercury glass mirror. The mirror with glossy and satin finish alternating panels, shell form crest flanked by intricate floral and foliate garland motifs, again to corners and lower center. The mirror with inside bead trim and an outside spiral motif on the outer perimeter.
Dimensions:
Mirror glass - 46" H, 35 1/2" W
Frame - 44 1/4" x 59 3/8" H x 4" D
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include nicks and some time softened losses to the gilt and losses to mercury glass plating, streaks of discoloration to the mercury, none of which detracts from the exceptionally fine French presentation.
