This is a large vintage Renaissance revival wall mirror. A Continental, giltwood and glass decorative mirror, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970.
Of grand proportion and delightfully ornate
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality giltwood beams with bright golden tones
Original bevelled mirror plate displays a bright appearance and minimal foxing
Profusely decorated frame, with a strikingly deep profile
Each corner adorned with carved relief shell motif and scrolled detail
Pattern details adorn the perimeter of the mirror plate, with beaded and chased finish
Dressed with a pair of mounting brackets - can be situated on shorter edge for portrait orientation
