Mid-18th Century George II - George III Period English Mirror

About the Item

Mid-18th century George II-George III period mirror, English. Walnut with parcel gilding. Central round gilt cartouche in the well shaped top crest. Gilt bordered bevelled glass mirror plate with mercury deposits typical of antique mirrors. The bottom with Victorian mahogany veneers, as well as the top end ears, perhaps a slightly simpler mirror with additions of the Victorian era. 47" h., 29.25" w., 1.25" d.
