Striking Italian faux bamboo hand carved frame with a thick beveled mirror.
Via one of our foreign contacts we recently purchased this practical and handcrafted wall mirror from the midcentury modern era. The all hand-carved wooden frame is in a stylized bamboo pattern, one that will work beautiful in all kinds of interiors, including temporary ones. And it even has a touch of Hollywood Regency in it. With this rare piece dating from circa 1950-1960 there only is a minor bit of fading of the original, beveled mirror itself. Otherwise this ideal-for-interior-decorators mirror could not be in better condition. Thanks to the brass hooks and metal bracket on the back mounting this stylish and artistic piece won't take more than a few minutes. If you already have a place and space in mind for this rare and highly decorative mirror then maybe you should be its next custodian.
