About the Item

Milanese Period Carved and Gilded Wall Mirror, Italy, circa 1750 An exuberantly hand-carved and gilded Milanese wall mirror; the craftsmanship and execution of the highest skill with exceptional ornamental design including asymmetry, scrolling curves, and hand-carved wood gilding which creates a sense of surprise and the illusion of motion and drama.
