Monumental 19th Century Ebonized Ripple-Molded Mirror

About the Item

Monumental 19th century ebonized ripple-molded mirror from Italy. Hand-carved in baroque style and ebonized. Original mercury-backed silvered mirror glass with some losses to reverse and beautiful 'diamond dust' effect around its edges. Note: Regional differences in humidity and climate during shipping may cause antique and vintage wood to shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer to loosen and/or peel, and painted finishes and gilt to crack and flake.
