About the Item
The Mooda mirror is composed of a set of dowels stitched together to create a beautiful geometric edge around the glass. The mirror in turn reflects the dowels along its circumference, completing the traditional form of the Mooda.
Available in two wood options, three mirror options, three standard sizes and a range of finishes, they are perfect for powder rooms, hallways or above a mantle. Shown here in Natural Maple.
The Mooda Collection is derived from an Indian technique of stitching together sticks of cane or bamboo to create a low stool called Mooda. Made up of two layers of slender sticks stitched in opposite directions, Moodas create an extraordinary curved form - a hyperboloid in geometry - that convinces even the observant eye there is not a single straight line in its structure.

INDO-
INDO- is an award winning interdisciplinary design studio based in Providence, RI. Founded in 2018 by Urvi Sharma and Manan Narang - both grew up in New Delhi and met at the Rhode Island School of Design - INDO- is a product of experiencing both places and cultures. Using a layered design process, incorporating personal narrative, traditional craft and modern ways of making into the work, INDO- creates products that connect with their audience in an increasingly diasporic world while embodying unique identities with the stories they tell. The studio aims to share the rich cultural and historical identities its founders bring with them as Indian designers to the continuously evolving landscape of American design. Our products are made to order in our RI studio - alongside a network of trusted local and regional vendors - and can be customized in size, material and finish to suit a wide range of projects. Our clients include top-tier interior design and architecture firms such as NICOLEHOLLIS, RIOS, Chango & Co, Studio DB and Shawn Henderson Interior Design working on residential and commercial projects worldwide.
