About the Item
Näkki is a limited-edition round wall mirror designed by Barcelona-based Swedish designer Sanna Völker, in collaboration with master glassblower Ferran Collado. This unique sculptural mirror is handcrafted using traditional mold-blown glass techniques and silver-plated using artisanal methods.
Each mirror is shaped by hand, making every piece one of a kind. The result is a three-dimensional, fluid surface that evokes the shimmering motion of water. Inspired by Scandinavian folklore and the work of Finnish architect Aino Aalto, Näkki reflects both craftsmanship and storytelling.
The name "Näkki" comes from a mythical water spirit said to dwell beneath bridges and still waters—a poetic reference to the seductive power of reflection. Designed to be easily hung, each mirror includes a secure hook on the back.
This collectible wall piece merges art, design, and tradition, and is perfect for interiors that value artisan-made decor, symbolism, and material honesty.
