Organic Large Drip Mirror in Casted Polished Brass
About the Item
The Drip Mirrors were debuted at Alcova Miami during Design week in 2023. These works are crafted in casted bronze and introduced in a Brass Mirror Polished Finish.
This concept that came from a very creative and unique place during COVID. Santi of Forma Rosa experimented with transforming naturally occurring shapes of drips of ink, then scanned and then recreated in i3D geometry on the computer. The final shapes derive from a analog and digital process where their organic and inflated geometry have been heightened. Working to move back and forth in a "feedback loop" to develop a truly organic and unique feel.
This piece is highly customizable in its size and metal finish if needed. Please reach out for more information.

Forma Rosa Studio is a Design Studio, based in Brooklyn New York, co-founded by Maria Teresa Castillo and Santiago Braby Brown. The studio focuses on the digital design and sourcing of limited edition, hand crafted objects for you and your home. These functional artworks draw heavily on natural phenomena, as the studio co-founders find inspiration in the environments that they grew up in; Lima, Peru and Bellingham, WA, together with their digital design training in New York City. Both creatives, with training in Architecture and Industrial Design, find inspiration in the development of new relationships between the digital design of our generation together with artisan craft. They push the unexpected clash between these concepts to sculpt new ways for them to create form, tactile sensations, and to find a newfound intimacy to their objects. Forma Rosa Studio.
