An Oval Gold Gilt French Napoleon III Antique Mirror
About the Item
A large antique gold gilt Oval pediment mirror from the Napoleon III period. Very well decorated with inner beaded slip, ribbon twist floral edge and outer beaded frame. The central cartouche again of ribbon with a tied plain medallion, scrolled at top with cascading floral shoulders.
Imported from Paris, purchased from an office close to the Arc de Triomphe
In very good condition with original bevelled plate glass, soft gilding from age, crisp and prominent mouldings and original boarded back still intact
