Very Tall Carved Gilded Italian Florentine Oval Leaf Beveled Mirror
About the Item
This is a very large and rare form of Florentine mirror made in Italy with a beveled glass mirror plate. The mirror is profusely carved with ornate stylized leaf and foliage and gilded in gold leaf. As with most of these mirrors due to the extremely fragile nature of their design, there are some old age cracks and repairs to the mirror. The mirror is still a magnificent piece and we can go further and repair it better if asked. The mirror dates to the 1940s era and is Italian.
