Pair of early C19th Bassano ceramic mirrors.
Superb and rare polychrome Venetian mirrors with original mercury plates. Hand-painted with floral motifs, mascarons and arched palmettes. Wooden backs with Bassano production marks. In very good condition with minor, age related wear. One mirror has minor repairs to the majolica and two hairline fractures, but no structural damage or loss (see photos).
