Vintage French Ceramic Wall Mirror by François Lembo (circa 1960s-70s)
By François Lembo
Located in London, GB
Gilded ceramic decorative wall mirror by François Lembo (circa 1960s-70s). Porthole-shaped ceramic frame embellished with colourful enamelled cabochons in green and black, imitating natural stones. The piece is in overall very good condition. Its appeal and beauty are unquestionable. The reverse side of the piece is intact and also in good condition with a small fitting for wall hanging. This very characterful ceramic would be a conversation piece in any home or work space. Signed on the reverse: 'F. Lembo'. A short video of the piece will be provided upon request. About the Designer: A native of Vallauris, François Lembo (1930-2013) started his pottery career in 1951 in the workshops of Calva and Rossignol.
