About the Item
Original 1948 new old stock rattan frame from the unused stock of Tropical Sun Rattan Company in Pasadena. The Mirror features a 7-strand side stacked rattan frame with a 28" tall mirror in the center with a clean early Geometric Mid-century styling.
In the 30s through early 50s Rattan was classified as either an "A" pole or a "B" pole. Poles were the nicest looking strands and were used for the more visible parts of furniture, while B poles were used in places less visible and had signs of damage or wear. These frames are made entirely of A poles.
This frame has been inspected and ensured the quality is new unused stock stored in a crate for over 60 years.
Measures: Frame- H 36 in x W 36 in.
Mirror- H 24 in x W 24 in.
