About the Item
This Rue Montmartre wall mirror, large size, is inspired by a 1930s mirror found in an old hotel on Rue Montmartre in Paris. At that time, floral wallpaper had been placed under the mercury glass. Natural oxidation over the years revealed fragments of the paper, creating a unique decorative effect.
The oxidation is handcrafted in our workshops using a traditional technique, ensuring a unique and authentic finish.
The mirror’s beveled edge is decorated with engraved glass bubbles, a detail typical of the 1930s that enhances its Art Deco style and decorative appeal.
