An elemental carved oak Pier Mirror with an Architectural feel. Ca, 1840. A tall narrow carved natural oak surround for the mirror. A high relief scrolled architrave at top with center acanthus leaves. The surround with carved egg and leaf band and inner beading.
H. 58", W. 28 1/2", D. 4.5”
Condition: Missing some backing boards, worn and soiled surfaces, but overall sturdy and presenting very well.
