Mirror Perfumer, Bronze Frame Molded by Hand, Casted in Oil Sand
Located in Sarstedt, NI
Mirror Perfumer For a famous perfumer we designed several bespoke pieces such as a big bronze mirror for his showroom in Paris. The bronze frame is molded by hand, cast in oilsand and blackened afterwards. A polished bevel at the back reflects the light to the wall. The mirror itself is made to look antique. The antique mirror is availabel in several shades. Manufactured as made to order so slight variations will occur from piece to piece. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. They will arrive with a bright finish but will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. Simply use a metal polish to restore a like-new finish. All pieces are numbered and signed at the back. Studio We make objects and interior. Hubert Mirror in Casted Bronze and Marmo di Rima
By Roberto Sironi
Located in Pireaus-Athens, Greece
Ruins by Roberto Sironi is a series of works that re-signify architectural fragments belonging to different historical periods and great archaeological sites, modelling the forms according to new aesthetic representations. The project relates constructive elements of the classical era, such as bases of columns, capitals, sections of an amphitheatre, with rudiments of the industrial era, such as the double-T beams and the reticular structural elements. Roberto Sironi elaborates on the concept of ruins according to a new perspective. Conceived as contemporary ruins, imaginary simulacra and/or programmed artifices – the materials and techniques of execution do not correspond to the original. The work shows how different fragments of architectural remains can be overlaid and re-signified, resetting the temporal distances and suspending the notion time. The composition of the colors of the Marmo di Rima in the Hubert Mirror, takes inspiration from the romantic painters of the eighteenth century, namely Robert Hubert...
