About the Item
Signed large oval gilt brass metal crystal glass backlit wall mirror made by Palwa, Germany, circa 1960-1970, documented in the Palwa sales catalog and signed at the back with Palwa company label with model number. The frame has lots of beautiful hand-cut faceted crystals in the shape of flowers which sparkle like diamonds. It takes ten x E14 standard screw bulbs to illuminate. The wiring is perfect, so the mirror is in fine working order and ready to use. Cleaned with love it stays in excellent original condition, no missing crystals, no defects. The amazing mirror is 60 cm / 23.62 inches tall, 45 cm / 17.72 inches wide and 10 cm / 3.94 inches deep. Typical for German first class lighting company Palwa which can be compared with Lobmeyr and Bakalowits Austria, this handcrafted mirror is made with best materials and is of highest quality. This sparkling beauty is an eye-catcher and a perfect addition and upgrade for any Mid-Century Modern or stylish interior. When illuminated or unlit, it fills any room with noble elegance.
