Superbly Carved Don Ruseau of New York French Walnut Mirror Louis XVI
About the Item
This is a rarity amongst American made furniture manufacturers and the ones espcially who treasured making exact replicas of European classics. This gorgeous mirror is in genuine gold leaf and is stamped Don Ruseau on the back. The mirror is in good original condition with minor wear and gold leaf loss on top where the mirror can't be seen when hung. and is as good, if not better than many of the French counterparts. Measures 47.5 tall x 32 wide x 2.5 deep. Dates to the 1960s era.
