Swedish Gustavian Period Signed Stockholm Mirror, circa 1780

About

This elegant mirror was made in Stockholm, circa 1780 and bears the official stamp of the Stockholm mirror guild as well as the personal stamp of the maker and certified gilder, Lago Lunden (1744-1819). The mirror has a lovely gilded bow and delicate cut through carved details. The central raised medallion depicts a boy. The original glass has a handmade beveled edge.
