About the Item

This impressively sized wall mirror has been crafted beautiful solid pine wood for its oval shaped frame. The pronounced knots in the wood and raised wood grain give a great amount of texture an interest to the piece. The choice of Pine for this mirror is an iconic symbol of mid-century Swedish style. The pine wood has been carved into 'segments' to give the appearance of many joined pieces around the frame, though the pine is in fact one solid piece. The wood has not been stained or colored in any way, allowing the the natural beauty of the wood to shine through unhindered. This is a vintage item and bears minimal signs of wear that are consistent with its age and use.
