Venetian 1940s Hollywood Shadowbox Mirror with Reverse Églomisé & Gilt Detailing

This refined mirror was realized in Venice, Italy, circa 1945. It features a segmented giltwood frame with a raised pyramidal border in relief with reverse églomisé gold foliate and floral detailing on both sides. The interior border framing the mirrored centre offers stylized ribbon detailing. It combines the clean lines of midcentury design with timeless neoclassical motifs. Embodying the old world glamour a bygone era, this piece promises to add a touch of old world sophistication to any interior. It is in excellent vintage condition.
