A striking Mid-Century painted and gilded vintage Italian neoclassical style frame enclosing the original mirror glass, circa 1940. The elegant shape of this mirror is enhanced by its sweeping curves as the frame moves to the base as well as the upright scrolls that curve inward to frame a carved and gilded cartouche set in the center of the top. The combination of the original painted and gilded finish is quite stylish and emphasizes the decorative motifs used to add definition to the overall appearance. Measures: 37" W x 55" H.
