About the Item
From our hand-painted furniture Collection, we are happy to introduce you to our black hand-painted Oriente bed, full bamboo posts with gilded accents and iron Lotus finials.
We decided to opt for a full Chinoiserie-like design, creating this wonderful Bamboo Frame Bed that reminds of the glorious Marco Polo's Journey to the Eastern World.
The Full Bamboo Posts are decorated with our special spotted bamboo design.
The unconventional headboard is enriched with bold gilded flowers and pomegranes, entirely hand-painted by our Team of Artists, using only the very best 18th century Venetian Techniques, passed down through the generations of artists from our land.

Because every piece is still built, painted and gracefully aged to look as if it was born in 18th Century Venice.
Each Porte Italia creation is a bespoke masterpiece made to the exact custom specifications of designers from London, Paris, Milan, the US, the Middle East & India. And often in concert with other Venetian families whose companies have been in business since Marco Polo was a boy. We aim to re-discover the beauty of Venetian Craftsmanship and the flavour of long past traditions, making them available today for our daily use. Our missions is simply to make Art in the form of Furniture.
