About the Item
A late 19th century, Italian, Rococo style headboard featuring deeply scrolled, hand carved, acanthus leaves which reflect the warmth and brightness of their original water gilding with the addition of an overall naturally time aged patina. The headboard has been upholstered in a luminous damask rose Tassinari & Chatel fabric. The headboard is large for its period and can take a mattress size up to - From the Antique Collection of La Maison London.
