About the Item
A magnificent all brass antique bed with decorative fittings, gallery in head and foot panels with central ring feature. This is one of the finest examples of a Victorian brass bed we have handled. It was manufactured in the Birmingham area of the UK around the end of the Nineteenth century and probably would have been graced a large country manor or important town house. In modern times this bed will be a superb attraction in both a traditional and a more contemporary setting.
This bed accepts a UK king size or US queen size (5ft, 60in or 150cm wide) base and mattress set.
The price includes a standard firm bed base to support the mattress.
We can lacquer this bed if required - please ask for price.
The mattress, bedding and bed linen are extra.
