We are delighted to offer for sale this Stunning Liberty Brass Bed This Antique Italian Brass Bed from the Art Nouveau Period, combines elegance and style with its intricate design and stunning bronzed colour. The rectangular shape of the bed frame, along with the decorative headboard and curved and decorated footboard make a Fantastic wow factor piece with heights of 167cm and 100cm respectively, this Bed exudes a sense of grandeur that will make a statement in any bedroom. Crafted in Italy during the early 1920s, this original Liberty bed frame is made of high-quality brass with an antique brass and bronze finish. The Headboard is decorated with a putti cherubs and there a plaque of playful putti's to the footboard, adding to the character of this bed It is suitable for a UK King size or double mattress the dimensions being 150 cm x 195 cm (200cm mattress would sit underneath the headboard slightly) The external bed measurements to the widest point are 155 cm. This bed requires a sommier/ slat bed base. These can be purchased online or a divan base can be use inside the frame. A beautiful rare piece, for anyone looking to the wow factor to their home.
