We are delighted to offer for sale this Fabulous Art Deco Period Bed from Walnut and Bronze This Antique Italian Walnut Bed from the Art Deco Period, combines elegance and dramatic style with its intricate design and stunning bronzed details. The rectangular shape of the bed frame, along with the decorative headboard with bedside Storage Cabinets and curved and decorated footboard make a Fantastic wow factor piece with heights of 205cm and 110cm respectively, this Bed exudes a sense of grandeur that will make a statement in any bedroom. Crafted in Italy during the early 1920-1930s, this original Liberty bed frame is made of Walnut and Walnut Veneer with an bronze Putti, Mary and Jesus and many more fantastic details. The Headboard is decorated with Mary and Jesus and there are solid bonze putti cherubs that mount to the footboard, to finish off the Fantastic workmanship on this Bed. It is suitable for a EU King size mattress the dimensions being 155 cm x 200 cm The external bed measurements to the widest point are 250 cm. This includes the bedside cabinets, that both have a black marble tops. The bed requires a sommier/ slat bed base. These can be purchased online or a divan base can be use inside the frame. This a truly unique piece, for anyone looking to add a touch of history to their home. The Bed dismantles into several pieces which helps with transportation and handing.
