The Booham bed by Daniel Boddam Studio, is a design that marries modernist influences with Boddam’s signature Australian sensibility.
As an extension of the existing Booham Collection, the bed retains both primitive and contemporary references whilst inducing a sense of rest and rejuvenation.
The signature curved structure creates a grounded feel, while a rattan or upholstered bedhead adds both style and comfort.
A testament to simplicity and elegance, the growing Booham Collection is inspired by a lifetime of travel, its rich materiality evoking a sense of romance, as if each design was collected on travels abroad.
The Booham Bed is hand-made in Australia to order using sustainably forested timber, available globally via Daniel Boddam Studio.
Materials: American Walnut (American Oak, Tasmanian Oak and Tasmanian Blackwood either natural or limed, smoked and black stain options POA), Rattan and a range of upholstery options POA.
Daniel Boddam Studio is an Australian architecture and design practice driven by a pursuit of simplicity. Establishing his eponymous studio in 2013, Boddam quickly committed himself to “the poetry of reduction” – his singular belief that a sense of calm and wellbeing can be achieved through design. Daniel Boddam Studio is an Australian architecture and design practice driven by a pursuit of simplicity. Establishing his eponymous studio in 2013, Daniel Boddam quickly committed himself to “the poetry of reduction” – his singular belief that a sense of calm and wellbeing can be achieved through design. Regardless of expression – architecture, interiors or furniture design – he seeks to inspire human engagement and a connection with nature whilst celebrating the artisanal. In 2015 the designer introduced his first collection of furniture, a nod to Daniel's desire for holistic expression.
