We are delighted to offer for sale this custom made And So To Bed, Bonaparte model, Super Kingsize, hand dyed cigar brown leather sleigh bed frame with Vi-Sprung divan bases This bed is the only one in the world with this colour finish, it has been fully restored by my leather polishers who manage all my luxury leather. The frame is mahogany and beech wood, its beautifully carved on the sides of the head and footboards with what looks like wheat grass, the leather is upholstered plain as fully aniline cattle hide, its then hand dyed six times and antiqued The leather is designed to look vintage from new and as it ages, it will pick up patina wear which will add to the vintage look and feel, think Regency gentleman’s club armchair and you will be along the right track The bed comes complete with two Vi-Sprung divan bases which add another level of luxury and comfort Dimensions Height:- head board 133.5cm, side rails 47cm, footboard 104cm Width:- 197cm outside, 185cm inside Depth:- 265cm front to back, inside depth 205cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
