Developed in conjunction with Korean lifestyle designer, Teo Yang, the Savoir Moon bed is truly one of a kind. In East Asian folklore, the moon is thought to represent a symbol of luck and wealth. Teo’s design captures the movement of the moon, with the full moon taking centre stage and the two moons either side featuring as folding panels. Skillfully upholstered by hand in glamorous glazed metallic linen, to create the look and feel of a glowing moon. This unique design is partnered with Savoir's most iconic Nº2 bed set. Commissioned for the Savoy hotel in 1905, slept on by such luminaries as Winston Churchill, Giacomo Puccini and Marilyn Monroe, and handcrafted in London to this day. Taking 80+ hours to complete, the Nº2 is a masterclass in craftsmanship, comfort and style. Savoir Nº2 bed set includes: Nº2 Box Spring - The Nº2 deep box spring is crafted from pine, hourglass springs and horsetail. It holds your weight, allowing the mattress and topper to provide support and luxurious comfort. Nº2 Mattress* - Our most famous mattress, the Nº2 marries natural materials with exceptional handcrafted details. The result is sublime comfort that’s been enjoyed by the great and the good for over 100 years. Every night feels like a night at The Savoy. *Mattress tensions: Zip and link mattresses. Medium tension. HW Topper - Created to complement the original Savoy bed, our hand-teased horsetail and soft wool topper adds the essential final layer of comfort to your bed. Upholstered in Robert Allen 'Alchemy Linen - Copper', with piping in Kobe 'Chacar gold col 42.' Finished with solid walnut legs on the corners.
