This bed frame is a handmade and modernized interpretation of the French Directoire style at the end of the 18th century.
This period is remarkable with its straight, classical and timeless lines.
This wooden bed frame in chery is made for a 140 cm x 190 cm / 55.1" x 74.8" mattress and is also available for smaller (single) 90 cm x 190 cm / 35.4 in x 74.8 in or bigger sizes like 160 x 200 cm / 63" x 78.7", 180 x 200 cm / 70.9" x 78.7", etc.. mattresses
Height of the head: 108 cm / 42.5"
Height of the foot : 40 cm / 15.7"
Height under the sides : 12 cm / 4.7"
The proposed finish is a pearl grey lacquer with a grey maroon lacquer for the diamond on the head and the grooves on the foot of the bed.
The sourcing of this solid wood comes from sustainably managed and PEFC certified French forests.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
