Handsome vintage Mid-Century Modern king sized double paneled walnut headboard. Beautiful original condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. We have found no outstanding flaws. Sometimes the best thing to do first thing in the morning… is go right back to bed! And honestly, with a bed this beautiful, you may never want to get up!!! This is a classic beauty with a magnificent mid-century modern style that you are sure to love for years to come. It is comprised of a solid walnut frame standing upon two round tapered legs which uniquely taper from the bottom to the top and it features a stunning walnut veneer double panel front with three rectangular openings on the sides and in the center and a flat top headpiece bearing rounded edges. And take another look at that wood grain!!! Can we just say… GORGEOUS!!!! It is going to be fabulous in your bedroom or as a guest bed! All you need is a king-sized mattress and a Hollywood frame OR if you don’t mind the opinion of my mom, who is a FABULOUS retired interior designer… She would have a hanging mechanism or wall cleat made so that you can attach it to the wall and lift it a little higher, use a platform rather than a Hollywood frame, and toss out the box springs as mattresses today are much taller than they used to be. Annnnnd, Voila! Maximum exposure of the headboard! If that sounds like something you would be interested in, we would be happy to provide a wall cleat upon purchase of the headboard. This headboard bears an exemplary presence, versatility, and a timeless style that you are sure to love for years to come…how can you go wrong? Wellllll, you really can’t!! Simply put… You need this headboard… Make it YOURS!!!!!

Maybe we can help with that!! This is a spectacular solid maple twin sized headboard and footboard bearing a beautiful rectangular shape with lovely, hand-carved, or hand-sculpted rounded edges. We will include metal siderails upon purchase. This is a classic beauty with an Art Moderne style that you are sure to love for years to come. It is designed in a style after Russel Wright for Conant Ball or Bissman. My mother (who is a retired interior designer and has been identifying vintage pieces since before I was born… and I am vintage myself!!) believes the actual style is a copy after Russel Wright but the construction leads her to believe it’s Bissman. It is not marked, but no matter, it is INCREDIBLE!! The design world calls these transition pieces… of the era when pieces transitioned between the Art Deco period and the Mid-Century Modern period, during the early portion of the 20th century. Ahhhhh, the good ‘ol days!! LOVE IT!!! The maple bears a beautiful natural shade and it features clean lines, a timeless presence, and simple design sure to blend in beautifully with any décor.
