Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this pair of sublime quality original Art Deco circa 1920-1930 Burr Walnut headboards or head and foot boards which are part of a suite Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price I have the matching dressing table and wardrobe listed under my other items, they are not included in this sale A very well made and good looking set, they can be used as two matching headboards or a head and foot board as mentioned, they are exactly the same size however the fitting mounts have been lowered on one hence the height difference when standing This bed is of the finest quality, the timber was extremely expensive new and was being imported by the likes of Gillows of Lancaster, the legs are real winner with this piece, its super rare to find them carved in this style and recessed with the period castors Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom, they will have some age and use related discoloration as you can see Dimensions Height:- 91.5cm & 81cm Width:- 92.5cm Depth:- 2cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
