About the Item
American black walnut handcrafted nightstands or end tables.
These are constructed from the finest American black walnut with the inner dovetailed traditionally jointed drawer carcass in prime English Oak. The main upper box is detailed with exposed hand-cut dovetail jointing and contains one drawer. A light curve design is cut into and around the legs and follows along the facia. Price per 1 piece.
Handmade by our highly skilled craftspeople in England. Hand finished in durable oils.
This is a contemporary modernist design with Scandinavian influences utilising traditional English furniture craftsmanship and fine timbers.
These can be made to your custom dimensions or bespoke design if required.
Also available to order in Prime English Quartersawn oak - examples of which can be seen in final images.

These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use.
Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
