About

An exceptional and extremely rare pair of 1950's Mid-Century Modern nightstands, or can also be used as side or end tables, designed by Jorgen Clausen for Brande Møbelfabrik, Denmark c. 1950. Often misattributed to Edmond Spence, this gorgeous pair of nightstands features tambour doors, sculpted legs with exterior framing and brass sabots. *Note, we have the matching highboy dresser and headboard available from this collection - contact us for more details if you wish to acquire a set. Fabricated from walnut with striking wood grain. These rare side / end tables or nightstands feature a slightly curved frame that extends to tapered legs capped by brass ferrules. The sculptural legs give the cabinets a floating appearance, and the two doors open to a large cubby area perfect for books, remote controls, and other bedside or couch-side accessories. This pair of 1950s bedside tables by Jorgen Clausen for Brande Møbelfabrik, would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, scandinavian or danish modern, or American modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a contemporary, Hollywood Regency or post-modern room. Also consider mixing it up in a traditional, classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. This cabinet would also be an Apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge, members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office. MEASUREMENTS: 28"W × 26"D × 25"H CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with light wear. Ready for immediate use.
