19th century French walnut neoclassical nightstand represents the epitome of Parisienne master craftsmanship from the Belle Epoque period! Exquisite hand-selected walnut, only the finest, was picked to create the casework, with special attention paid to the bas relief carvings in the classical theme on the cabinet door framed with molding arched at the top like an archer's bow (en arbalette) and crested with stylized shell, floral and foliates. Floral garlands are draped on the rounded and fluted corner posts at the top, with egg and dart and spiral ribbon molding adding a nice touch.
