Silvio Cavatorta, maple and beech, brass, glass, Italy, 1950s.
These two delicate and sculptural bedside tables are designed by the Italian Silvio Cavatorta. The little maple cabinets feature one drawer each and have a tripod frame. The frame is stained white beech and is very elegantly shaped. These nightstands are iconic for Italian design of the 1950s with elegant, delicate lining and frivolous details.
