Vintage Bedside Cabinet with Yellow Lacquer, Lift Top and Two Doors

About the Item

A vintage Chinese bedside cabinet from the mid 20th century, with distressed yellow lacquer, lift top, two doors, brass hardware and horse hoof feet. Created in China during the Midcentury period, this bedside cabinet features a linear shape perfectly complimented by a yellow lacquer boasting a nicely distressed patina. The cabinet showcases an unusual lift top opening to reveal a convenient storage space also accessible through the front doors. These doors, adorned with slightly raised panels, are fitted with traditional brass hardware made of a rectangular backplate with shaped pulls and small key. The lower section is made of three panels imitating the presence of drawers. The sides are made of recessed panels and the back showcases a darker color. We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is a vintage piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture. The ensemble is raised on four feet, with horse hoof extremities in the front. With its clean lines, lovely finish and convenient design, this vintage Chinese nightstand cabinet from the mid 20th century will bring a pop of color to any home, used in a bedroom or living room!

A Chinese antique elm wood bedside cabinet from the early 20th century, with double doors, two drawers, iron hardware and weathered patina. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, this elm wood bedside cabinet features a rectangular distressed top with recessed panel in its center, sitting above two petite doors fitted with iron hardware made of an oblique latch connected to two circular backplates.
